    Cheran Group of Institutions has been providing education services for 28 years and has Arts & Science, Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Pharmacy colleges in Coimbatore, Tirupur and Kangeyam.

    We, The Cheran Group, are looking for Head - Admission for our Corporate Office in Cheran Tower, Coimbatore.

    Job Summary

    The primary responsibility of the position is to assist the Admission Counsellors, tele callers in the implementation of all necessary admission processes and actions, with the goal of successfully completing the admission process for students and maintaining high admission success rates across all intakes.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • To work according to the Colleges policies and procedures.
    • Responsible for generating new leads (organic and/or paid) and keeping LEAD SQUARE up to date and accurate.
    • Markets course programmes and facilities by developing and distributing informational brochures, writing and putting advertisements, answering queries, and leading tours, events, stalls and etc.,
    • Responsible of gathering student information by collecting completed applications and other documents, checking and clarifying information, interviewing patients and family members, and explaining admissions standards.
    • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the admissions process, such as applications, interviews, and campus visits.
    • Follow up with prospective leads and educate them on the courses available.
    • Follow up on inbound and outbound leads, convert them to admissions, and update LEAD SQUARE.
    • Closely work with Admission Counsellors to complete daily tasks and collect information and papers needed for admission.
    • Monitor the online application process and follow-up to ensure admissions.
    • Responsible to fill out applications for admissions to our programmes in accordance with SOPs.
    • Responsible for advising students and parents on specific degree programmes, admission and payment procedures.
    • Provide administrative support such as document filing and so on.
    • Maintain cordial relations with management, students, faculty, and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations.
    • Work with the Digital marketing team to prepare or update admission materials.
    • Any other duties that may be assigned.

    Preferred candidate profile

    • Bachelors degree/ MBA in Marketing or relevant field.
    • A minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role in an institution is required.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enrolment/admissions software
    • Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
    • Excellent presentation, networking and communication skills.
    • Collaborative and team oriented working style.
