We are looking for a highly skilled AS400 Technology Analyst with a minimum of 6 years of experience in AS400 development, specifically in COBOL/400. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, building, and testing applications on the AS400 platform. Additionally, they should possess a strong understanding of Financial Services and core banking functional knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Design, develop, and implement solutions on the AS400 platform using COBOL/400.

Build and test applications to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements.

Provide support and maintenance for existing AS400 applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to AS400 development.

Mandatory Skills:

Minimum 6 years of experience in AS400 development.

Proficiency in COBOL/400 programming language.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to analyze business processes and design efficient solutions on the AS400 platform.

Experience with testing and debugging AS400 applications.

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of Financial Services and core banking processes.

Familiarity with IBBA (Integrated Banking and Budgeting Application) would be a plus.

Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
