Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO and RAR Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing, customizing, and supporting SAP Financials modules, with a specific focus on Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) and Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).

Responsibilities:

1. Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials modules, with a primary focus on FICO Controlling (CO) functionalities including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead assessment, and settlement.
2. Manage revenue recognition processes using the RAR module, including identifying contracts, performance obligations, allocation of transaction prices, fulfillment of performance obligations, and revenue postings.
3. Engage with clients, business stakeholders, and technical counterparts to understand business requirements, map requirements to SAP functionalities, and develop necessary product modifications to meet client needs.
4. Design, customize, and configure FI/CO modules according to client requirements, identifying gaps, issues, and providing work-around solutions as necessary.
5. Conduct testing of FI/CO modules, document functional designs, test cases, and results, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
6. Provide support for interfacing external systems and solutions, managing and resolving requests on separate schedules and/or as part of scheduled packages and releases.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales Distribution, Production, and Materials Management, to ensure seamless integration with SAP FICO modules.
8. Maintain excellent knowledge and experience in SAP CO, including Material Ledger and CO-PA, and related authorization concepts.
9. Possess a good understanding of SAP FICO modules and ABAP development knowledge, including debugging and simple code creation.
10. Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, issues, and resolutions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP FICO implementation and support, with specific experience in Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).
3. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
4. Proficiency in SAP FICO modules, including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, etc.
5. Experience with SAP RAR module is highly preferred.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and business stakeholders at all levels.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
9. SAP certification in FICO and/or RAR is a plus.
