DevOps Automation Engineer - India - Computer Network and Security

Description

Serve as a primary point of contact for infrastructure automation configuration via Terraform, Ansible, and Python. Responsible for the overall health, performance, and capacity of our services and APIs. Create dashboards and other tools for use in day-to-day monitoring and troubleshooting. Perform advanced troubleshooting and monitoring of the systems to ensure SLAs are met. Collaborate with our engineering technical leads on the design and expansion of our infrastructure. Assist in the roll-out and deployment of new products and services to facilitate our rapid iteration and constant growth. Work closely with development teams to ensure that platforms are designed with operability in mind. Drive standardization efforts across multiple services. Identify and lead efforts to improve automation. Function well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

Required:

Experience working with Datadog and building health checks and dashboards.

Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code such as Ansible and Terraform.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket Pipelines.

Experience working with building and deploying Docker images.

Experience working with Kubernetes.

Experience working with Python.

Experience working with AWS or GCP.

Bonus:

Understanding of GitOps architecture and Kubernetes IaaC via Config Connector or Crossplane

Experience with Istio

Education:

B.S. or higher in Computer Science or other technical discipline
