    & SummaryA career within Tax Technology services, will provide you with the opportunity to work directly with senior Information Technology professionals within PwC, as well as with our clients, in order to provide specialised assistance to troubleshoot and resolve issues surrounding the technical application aspects of our tax technology solutions.

    Our team is responsible for acting as the direct liaison with information technology professionals at PwC and our clients by providing specialised assistance to troubleshoot and resolve issues with our tax technology solutions. You'll focus on utilising proprietary web applications and managing technology support.

  • Responsible for working with cross-functional tax technology teams to support engagement teams using internal accelerators including, but not limited to, PwC tax applications and third-party applications as part of their compliance and provision processes. The candidate should be willing to upskill and develop an understanding of how the tools in the PwC Tax ecosystem work together to effectively implement the tools and provide consultative advice towards best practices. The candidate would:
  • Act as a trusted advisor on compliance process and technology consultations
  • Responsible for providing timely updates to Enablement Team leader and business sponsor
  • Work with the business to identify gaps in process and/or technology and then leverage the TSIT network to close them
  • Be responsible for providing guidance to internal PwC Tax engagement teams on the correct process for implementing state compliance and provision tools and technologies
  • Be responsible for continually updating standard processes for the PwC Tax ecosystem
  • Own the coordination with Tax engagement leaders, TSIT leaders, and Acceleration Center team
  • Own the coordination with fellow TSIT Enabling teams including Business Analysts, Product Managers, Data Strategy, Digital Pursuits, Process Excellence, Change Management and Adoption, Training and Support
  • Minimum years experience required

  • Six or more years of US Tax domain experience
  • Proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member in the following areas:
  • Executing training and support activities;
  • Establishing standards for execution of product, training, support & adoption;
  • Co-developing a toolkit of templates & artifacts;
  • Aligning with business portfolio leaders and the business product user community;
  • Aligning with Acceleration Center leaders;
  • Providing product best practice expertise;
  • Coordinating with enabling teams including business analysts, product managers, process excellence, data strategy, digital pursuits, change management;
  • Co-developing product release training and support plans with product managers;
  • Co-developing product Micro-Site & training materials;
  • Delivering product training and providing L2 product support;
  • Producing training and L2 support metrics for continuous improvement; and Co-developing training materials for both US and Acceleration Center staff, delivered through formal learning and development channels.

  • In Tax, promotion to Manager requires the holding of an active primary credential of either (1) US CPA or foreign equivalent or (2) US Enrolled Agent in good standing with an appropriate regulatory body or (3) a Firm approved Secondary Credential For Manager candidates in process who have the credential, once onboarded, it must be submitted and kept up to date in the appropriate system of record.
