    Job Overview

    We are seeking a motivated and experienced Purchase Manager to join at our Client place based at Thane, Mumbai (Maharashtra). As a Purchase Manager - Chemical will be responsible for managing the procurement of chemicals and related materials for our clients. This is a full-time position located at company headquarters in Mumbai. The salary range for this role is competitive and will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

    Qualifications and Skills:-

    • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
    • Proven experience in chemical procurement, preferably in a similar role
    • Strong knowledge of chemical products, market trends, and supplier networks
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
    • Proficient in using procurement software and tools
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
    • Knowledge of relevant regulations and quality standards in chemical procurement
    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    Roles and Responsibilities :-

    • Developing and implementing procurement strategies for chemicals and related materials
    • Identifying and selecting reliable suppliers for chemical procurement, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships
    • Monitoring and forecasting chemical market trends and prices, ensuring cost-effective procurement
    • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their chemical requirements and coordinating the procurement process
    • Managing inventory levels and maintaining accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and pricing
    • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards in chemical procurement
    • Conducting regular performance evaluations of suppliers and identifying areas for improvement
    • Staying updated on industry developments and advancements in chemical procurement practices.
