Job Title: Cloudera Developer

Job Seniority: 3-6 yrs experience

Location : Pune

Notice period: Immediate to 15 days

Key responsibilities:

 Perform Development & Support activities for Data warehousing domain

 Understand High Level Design, Application Interface Design & build Low Level Design.

 Working directly with customer to understand the requirements and develop the solutions.

 Perform Development & Deployment. Should be able to Code, Unit Test & Deploy

 Creating necessary documentation for all project deliverable phases

Mandatory Skillset:

 Working experience with Cloudera and Cloudera upgrade experience (Developer role) is preferred

 2+ years of Hands-on experience with DWH

 Understanding of Hadoop ecosystem (Hadoop, HBase, Hive, MapReduce).

 Hands on experience with SQL Server and T-SQL. Ability to write complex SQL & performance tune them.

 Good understanding of ETL Processes and flows

 Exposure to Master data management and Data governance

Good to have:

 Willingness to learn all data warehousing technologies & work out of the comfort zone in ETL technologies.

 Hands on experience in Unix & Shell Scripting.

 Understanding of Kafka Queues, PySpark.

 Understanding of Big Data Technologies like Spark.

Behavioral skills:

 Eagerness & Hunger to learn. Good problem solving & decision-making skills

 Good communication skills within the team, site and with the customer

 Ability to stretch respective working hours when necessary, to support business needs

 Ability to work independently and drive issues to closure

 Flexible to work in afternoon shift as needed

 Effectively handle multiple and complex work assignments, while consistently deliver high quality work
