Workspace Engineer - Azure (w365, AVD, Citrix) Devops

Responsible for design, deployment, management, and support of VDI, XenApp, Windows365, Azure VDI, and Netscaler. Experience in IGEL is preferred. Needs to have automation and integration experience with the latest AI technologies such as Power Automate and Copilot. Extensive experience of all Workspace infrastructure and their inter-dependencies is integral to the success of this role. Must have deep knowledge of all basic technologies as well as Windows365, Azure, XenApp, XenDesktop, Power Automate and Copilot.

You will also interface with various IT teams, project managers, vendors, and business leaders to ensure alignment with business requirements and technological innovations.

Responsible for leveraging emerging automation and AI technologies in End User Workspace.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under limited supervision. A large degree of creativity and latitude is required.

ResponsibilitiesWork with the team on the architecture, deployment, management of Workspace technology deployment/strategy that aligns with the organization's goalsExtensive knowledge on the architecture and deployment of Windows365 (CloudPCs)Experience in build and design Azure Virtual DesktopKnowledge in Power Automate and Copilot technologies to enhance user experience, service delivery and performanceExposure to leveraging Robotics process automation to streamline End User Workspace processes and deliverables.

Contribute as a subject matter technical expert for all Workspace technologiesWork independently on projects with all teams to meet defined deliverables and timelinesEfficiently troubleshoot/prioritize issues and create a culture of root cause analysisWork independently and as part of a team to urgently analyze and troubleshoot escalated issues from Tier IIAssist in managing the day-to-day operations of all Workspace technologiesWork closely with all Support teams in problem resolution as well as Infrastructure projectsEvaluate emerging technologies and trends to ensure the organization remains technologically competitiveContinuously develop and update documentation as well as knowledge base articlesWork with team to cross train on all Workspace TechnologiesResponsible for application support and development for Citrix infrastructure 7x24Assist with conducting third party vendor review and analysisAfter-hours support rotation and implementation as needed

QualificationsKnowledge in the build and implementation of Power Automate code/AI to streamline processes and increase productivityHighly Proficient in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops ArchitectureStrong background in Azure with a specialized experience in W365 and Azure Virtual DesktopExperienced in Citrix integration with AWS and AzureExtensive knowledge in VMware and NutanixExperience in the build and support of NetScalerComprehensive knowledge of Citrix Cloud and automation around itExperience in IGEL preferredPrevious exposure in troubleshooting L3/L2/L1 issues systemwide as well as a single user.4Good interpersonal skills including networking, collaboration, communication, time management, being able to adapt to different audiences, environments, and culturesTeam player and the willingness to lend a hand with any project, big or smallProject Management and Documentation skillsAt least 5 years of experience in VDI engineeringBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Financial Services Experience preferred.
