Chronic disease management requires continuous monitoring, lifestyle modification and multi-disciplinary approach (medicine and lifestyle) to manage the progression of the disease. Conventional brick and mortar hospitals and clinics, follow a siloed and non-personalized approach towards treating disease, adversely impacting the treatment outcomes, leading to high dissatisfaction and mistrust.

Zyla is India's highest rated care management platform (4.7+ rated continuously) providing personalized and continuous care to chronic patients, with the vision to impact millions of families across the globe. The chatbot-based assistant is being built on Medical AI technology using 10,000+ medical protocols (spanning across Drugs, Diagnostics, Diseases, Symptoms, Lifestyle) and is overseen by a world-class multidisciplinary medical team.

The complete process includes an Intelligent Decision Assistance Platform which helps the medical practitioners deliver continuous care which is practically non-existent today, with the help of NLP, Machine Learning and AI.

What we are most proud of in our tech - Highly advanced Kubernetes architecture in DevOps, Chat architecture which connects in 64ms and can scale to 100k concurrent connections, advanced workflow engine to manage patient's care journey, time series database and clickstream engine for analytics.

Education and experience

• Any degree or not. As long as you can think, research, plan, review, test, and write excellent code, it doesn't really matter
• You have made and overcome mistakes, and have turned them into learnings, discipline, and success.
• 7+ years of experience.

Skills

• A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and databases. Although we don't believe in writing it all in one language, previous experience in GoLang would be icing on the cake
• Worked in a startup-like environment with high levels of ownership and commitment.
• Of course, excellent coding skills – ability to convert the design into code.
• Experience with agile development methodologies with Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Experience in building highly scalable business applications, which involve implementing large complex business flows and dealing with huge amounts of data. Experience with multithreading and concurrency programming.
• Eagerness to always keep learning the latest technology.
• Deep appreciation for efficiency and the ability to take a pragmatic approach to product development and reliable delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Write clean, maintainable code while rapidly iterating and shipping.
• Participate in all phases of development, from design to implementation, unit testing, and release.
• Foster a culture of inclusivity and open-mindedness within the organization while crafting an inspired vision and strategy for the engineering team.
• Continuously inculcate a culture of learning and get actively involved in training the team.
