    Position Overview:

    The Manufacturing Operations Specialist at CEAD will oversee the shopfloor operations at our Mysore plant, with a primary focus on producing high-quality automotive components tailored for electric vehicles. This role demands specialized knowledge in electronics manufacturing and testing, with an emphasis on electromechanical assembly, which is particularly valuable for EV components. This pivotal role is ideal for professionals with 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, offering an opportunity to drive excellence and progress within the organization.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:


    •Proven expertise in managing high-stakes manufacturing operations with a focus on efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.


    •Proficiency in applying lean manufacturing principles to enhance production and cost efficiency.


    •Strong ability to maintain stringent national and international quality and safety standards.


    •Advanced skills in data analysis using tools like Excel or R, with proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.


    •Demonstrated leadership in managing a diverse team of 30-40, fostering teamwork and professional development.


    •Excellent communication skills for effective internal and external stakeholder interactions.


    •Capability to integrate manufacturing goals with company-wide strategies through seamless collaboration with other departments.


    •Commitment to continuous improvement in quality and operational standards.


    •From Tier-1 Automotive component manufacturing background.


    •Knowledge of electronics manufacturing and testing, with a special focus on electromechanical assembly particularly valuable for electric vehicle (EV) components. (added advantage)

    Job Responsibilities:


    •Oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production, maintenance, and logistics.


    •Develop and enforce processes to maximize production efficiency and quality.


    •Coordinate the strategic deployment of materials, equipment, and personnel.


    •Continuously evaluate and adjust production metrics to achieve targets and enhance efficiency.


    •Manage the budget of the plant with a focus on cost-effectiveness and fiscal discipline.


    •Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations.


    •Develop strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other key stakeholders.


    •Recruit, train, and lead plant personnel, creating a dynamic and cooperative work environment.


    •Regularly report on plant performance to upper management, providing insights and strategic solutions.

    Education Qualification:

    Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communications, or Mechatronics Engineering.

    Additional Requirements:

    Travel required (10% of the time).
