The System and Network Administrator is responsible for installing configuring and maintaining servers desktops laptops operating systems managing LAN WAN Wi-Fi networks routers switches firewalls and VPNs providing L1/L2 support for hardware software networking printers and servers monitoring system network performance troubleshooting issues coordinating with vendors for IT equipment procurement maintenance.
