    Job Summary:

    As a Sales person will be responsible for selling electrical goods in the relevant channel (electrical outlets). You will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and market expansion within your assigned area. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales plans, managing distribution channels, leading and motivating a team of channel, executing sales promotion initiatives, and ensuring efficient sales operations. Your ability to maintain strong relationships with channel partners, team below and stakeholders will be key to your success.

    Responsibilities:

    • Delivering Sales Targets - Achieve assigned sales targets for the designated area and in the electric outlets. Make and implement sales plans to meet primary and secondary sales objectives.
    • Business Development - meet contractors, real estate developers and influence them to specify or buy the electric products
    • Managing Distribution - Appoint, retain, and motivate distributors within the area. Ensure coverage (depth and breadth of distribution) to optimize product availability.
    • Team Management - Manage a team of off-roll salespersons, providing guidance, support to achieve sales objectives and drive productivity.
    • Sales Promotion - Drive local sales promotion schemes to boost product visibility and sales. Coordinate and execute visibility campaigns and successful new product launches.
    • Sales Operations Management - Ensure smooth sales operations, including proper claim management and adherence to company policies and procedures.
    • Competition Analysis - Monitor and analyze the competition landscape within the assigned area.
    • Reporting - Provide timely and accurate MIS reporting on sales performance and market trends.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Proven experience in sales of more than 4 years in the channel-driven consumer goods (like FMCG or consumer durable or electrical or building materials or stationeries etc) sectors.
    • Ability to manage and motivate teams/partners effectively.
    • Good at communication and interpersonal skills for maintaining relationships with distributors, retailers, and internal stakeholders.
    • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and MIS reporting.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive sales growth and overcome challenges.
    • Familiarity with distribution management and sales operations best practices.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
