Job Overview:

We're seeking an SDE II Front-End Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in developing our SaaS security platform's dashboard. You'll focus on utilizing Next.js, React, TypeScript, shadcn/ui, Tailwind CSS, and TanStack Query to create an intuitive and efficient dashboard that meets the evolving needs of our users. Additionally, you'll be responsible for mentoring junior front-end developers and ensuring the highest technical standards.

You'll collaborate with talented individuals, working alongside product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to deliver innovative solutions and push the boundaries of web development. The role requires deep collaboration with leadership, product, design, back-end, and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into code.
• Research, design, and develop features independently, owning what you create.
• Architect and design complex systems and features, demonstrating a deeper understanding of system design concepts.
• Take on a leadership role within the team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in core technologies and tackle complex technical challenges independently.
• Develop consistent and user-friendly web interfaces based on Figma designs, using Next.js and React.
• Utilize TypeScript for type safety and enhanced development workflows, ensuring code quality and reliability.
• Implement designs using shadcn/ui design kit and utilize Tailwind CSS for a cohesive visual experience.
• Integrate Tanstack Query and Jotai for efficient data fetching and state management.
• Optimize web performance and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.
• Write and enforce clean, modular, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices, security, and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues pre/post-production, ensuring timely resolution to minimize impact on users.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of experience with Next.js (preferred) or React.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Demonstrated experience mentoring junior developers and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Strong proficiency in Next.js and React, with experience building web applications.
• Experience working with design systems and UI libraries, preferably shadcn/ui.
• Familiarity with state management libraries such as Tanstack Query/Jotai.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of basic UX principles and what makes a great user experience.
• Solid understanding of web development concepts such as HTML, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
