    Hiring for an Accountant for a reputed MINING Industry

    We are seeking a skilled Accountant with 4 to 6 years of experience for a full-time position. The Accountant will be based in Kendujhar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand India. This role requires strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting, finance, account management, as well as expertise in TDS and GST.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Proven experience as an Accountant, with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
    • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
    • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
    • Experience in preparing and filing tax returns, including TDS and GST.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of Indian accounting standards and regulations.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial activities, including financial statement preparation, general ledger maintenance, and accounts reconciliation.
    • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
    • Preparing and filing tax returns, including TDS and GST, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
    • Assisting in budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
    • Coordinating with internal teams to gather financial data and support decision-making processes.
    • Conducting financial analysis and reporting, providing insights and recommendations.
    • Assisting with audit preparation and communicating with auditors.
    • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
    • Maintaining confidentiality of financial information and adhering to company policies and procedures.
    • Staying updated with accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends.
