Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead, manage, and grow our real-world data (RWD) evidence generation and advanced analytics services team based in India.

Working closely with the Senior Director, you will lead the team to support and collaborate with our North American and European RWD/E analytics and consulting leads to deliver Clarivate's industry leading RWD/E analytics services.

The ideal candidate has an ability to see solutions in real world data, commercial and clinical datasets, and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities and action for our customers.

The Director of Analytics & Insights will work closely with leaders across Delivery, Products, Consulting, Solutions and Sales and deliver value to our customers.

The Director of Analytics & Insights will join a highly talented and fast paced team, managing teams of analytics professionals, providing direction to project teams, developing new analytics capabilities, and standardizing internal processes.

What Will You be Doing in this Role?

You will manage and grow a team of talented data scientists, epidemiologists, biostatisticians, and data analysts to deliver RWE and advanced analytics projects to our U.S, EU and APAC pharma, MedTech, biotech and healthcare clients.

Setup and maintain a sustainable process and organization for optimizing operational efficiencies for the India-based team.
Work with the Sr.

Director and other leads to provide "white-glove" analytics consulting services, defining client needs and ensure client satisfaction through on-time delivery of high-quality services.

Identify appropriate data and methodologies to answer client questions and interpreting results.
Plan, organize and manage resources to bring about the successful completion of client's project goals and objectives.
Recruit, train, develop and supervise a team of data scientists and data analysts.
Oversee the design and delivery of insights from real world data - on-time, on-budget, quality delivery.
Organize teams to respond quickly to requests for project support, developing project workplans, and budgets.
Help guide development of analytics accelerators/platforms to speed up and scale analytics services.
Be the trusted advisor, guide, and coach to help your team navigate challenging RWD/E analytics problems
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
Advanced degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, economics, mathematics or equivalent
Demonstrated experience leading large operational teams, successfully delivering RWD/E projects to pharma, medtech, biotech, or healthcare industries.
15 years of experience in pharma, MedTech, biotech or healthcare industry, drawing insights from data. At least 7 years' experience working with healthcare and Real-World Data, especially medical and pharma claims, experience designing and implementing RWE studies, observational studies, pharma/MedTech commercialization analytics use cases (market sizing, reimbursement, payer mix, commercial targeting etc
Comfortable with advising and guiding staff on RWE generation methods, observational study design, and statistical methods
Understanding of and experience using advanced analytical concepts, statistical modeling techniques, predictive and prescriptive analytics, Well versed in SQL and either Python or R
Comfortable with code management best practices (e.g. git workflow)
Have an innovative mindset, and have ideas about leveraging advanced methods (AI/ML) to solve RWD/E problems.
Prior experience managing & growing revenues in a life sciences consulting / data analytics environment.
Proficient at partnering with multiple stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization.

About the team:
Designs, develops, and leads product management strategies for a significant product or product category.

Tracks customer segments to identify key needs and appropriate product solutions, then plans, leads, and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, owning the product and its development.

Collaborates closely with the product development team to ensure product content is delivered successfully.
Hours of Work

You will be expected to work on a work schedule (12: 00 PM IST to 9:00 PM IST) to provide for reasonable hours of collaborative work with the US team.
