JobDescription:As a steward youwill be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organizationof all kitchen areas dishwashing stations and food preparationareas. Your duties will include washing dishes glassware flatwarepots or pans using dishwashers or by hand ensuring that all itemsare thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. You will also be responsiblefor maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen including floorswalls and equipment and disposing of trash and recyclingproperly.Responsibilities:

• Washdishes glassware flatware pots or pans using dishwashers or byhand
• Place clean dishes utensils or cookingequipment in storage areas
• Maintain kitchenwork areas equipment or utensils in clean and orderlycondition
• Sweep and scrubfloors
• Remove trash and clean kitchen garbagecontainers
• Sort and remove trash placing it indesignated pickup areas
• Clean garbage cans withwater or steam
• Maintain and stock cleaningsupplies
• Follow all company and safety andsecurity policies and procedures
• Reportmaintenance needs accidents injuries and unsafe work conditions tomanager
• Complete safety training andcertifications

Qualifications:

• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• Previousexperience in a similar role preferred but notrequired
• Ability to work in a fastpacedenvironment
• Ability to stand for longperiods
• Strong attention todetail
• Ability to work as part of ateam
