    Job Overview

    We are seeking a skilled and passionate COMMI I IINDIAN Cuisine to join our team at Rural Blues The Restobar. As a COMMI I INDIAN, you will be responsible for assisting the senior chefs in the preparation and cooking of delicious Indian dishes. This is a full-time position with a Junior level experience requirement of 1 to 3 years. If you have a strong understanding of Indian cuisine and are looking to further develop your culinary skills, we would love to hear from you.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • 1-3 years of experience as a COMMI I INDIANor similar role in an Indian restaurant
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of Indian cuisine
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations
    • Basic understanding of kitchen operations and equipment
    • Passion for cooking and creating delicious dishes
    • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under pressure

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Assist the senior chefs in preparing and cooking Indian dishes according to the restaurant's standards and recipes
    • Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
    • Maintain inventory control and ensured all necessary ingredients and supplies were stocked
    • Assist in the plating and presentation of dishes to ensure they are visually appealing
    • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service
    • Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth workflow and coordination
    • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
    • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
    • Perform any other duties assigned by the senior chefs or management
