    Job Summary

    An NGO Assistant Manager in Maharashtra typically manages project implementation, monitoring, and reporting, while also ensuring projects align with organizational goals and objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Project Management:
      • Implementation and Monitoring: Oversee the execution of project activities at the field level, including planning, monitoring progress, and addressing potential risks.
      • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on project progress, outcomes, and financial status.
      • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and financial records.
    • Budget Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring timely disbursement of funds, and tracking expenses.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community members, government agencies, and other partners.
    • Survey Management: Conduct surveys as per requirement of the stakeholders.

    Program & Operations:

    • Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring ongoing programs and projects.
    • Supervise field and program teams to ensure efficient delivery of services.
    • Support the preparation of reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and donor use.
    • Assist in proposal writing, budgeting, and fundraising efforts.

    Partnerships & Collaboration:

    • Identify and cultivate new partnerships with NGOs, corporates, government bodies, and other stakeholders.
    • Maintain regular communication with existing partners and collaborators.
    • Explore strategic alliances that align with the NGO's mission and objectives.

    Public Relations & Outreach:

    • Represent the NGO at local and national forums, events, and conferences.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with media, press, and PR contacts.
    • Contribute to public communications including newsletters, reports, and press releases.

    Organizational Development & Expansion:

    • Research opportunities for organizational growth into new geographies or thematic areas.
    • Assist senior management in developing expansion strategies.
    • Contribute to visibility and branding efforts of the organization.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Education: Master's in Social Work (MSW) or MBA
    • Location: Shripur, Maharashtra
    • Experience: 5-6 Years of proven experience working in NGO in project management, program implementation, or a related field.
    • Skills:
      • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
      • Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English and Marathi, as well as the local language of the project area.
      • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and tools.
