Job Summery :

The OTS Tool DBA Tech Lead will be responsible for planning, driving and execution of the various tools Road map along with keeping all stakeholders informed and in sync. Position will be directly working with the dedicated teams to ensure the technical roadmap is aligned with dedicated teams roadmap. Tech lead will ensure projects are delivered as per roadmap along with operation support for the managed tools. It will be essential that the lead motivates the team members and sets accountability for them and focuses on team's technical development. This role will require coordination with different teams within the Enterprise, ensuring their engagement and alignment to support the road map. The expectation from the role is to have On-Hands technical approach to drive technical solutions.

This role will be responsible to ensure availability and performance of various tools such as OEM and RMAN. These tools are required to run various Oracle EBS environments.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Ensure availability and uptime of all Tools managed by team
• Coordinate with Infra Teams, Tech leads and TSMs during any maintenance activities for Tools instances
• Good knowledge on OEM and its Alerting process
• Support Team for technical issues in OEM
• Plan and execute OEM upgrades and patching to the latest release updates from time to time to fix vulnerabilities and bugs in OEM
• Consolidate OEM alerts from time to time as per DBAs requirements
• Maintain Auto corrective actions and implement new corrective actions based on new requirements
• Maintain stability of OEM OMS server and Agents on all servers
• Coordinate with Primary Tech leads on OEM, LRS and Service Trace activities
• Ensure the PBC is working fine and help DBAs in deploying any new steps / procedures for Cloning
• Plan LRS printer consolidation from time to time by removing unused printers
• Coordinate with LRS printer users for critical issues related to printing and resolve them on priority
• Co-ordinate with Service Trace Development team for Service Trace maintenance activities
• Help Service Trace team on technical issues and upgrades related to Central Server and Robots
• Maintain RMAN catalogue DBs to ensure proper backup of all databases
• Manage discoverer instances to ensure service is available till business moves to a new reporting tool
  
  

Required Skills:

• Hands on experience on installation, configuration, upgrading, administrating, monitoring, troubleshooting, cloning, Patching, Backup and restore of Oracle application & databases.
• Supporting R12 application & 11g/12C/19c Databases.
• Strong Understanding of database & Application architecture.
• Knowledge of database wait events and tuning undesirable events
• Working on ticketing system and tool on production/development EBS Database/Application issues.
• Perform Patching, cloning, taking backups, managing archives and regular maintenance activities
• Hands on experience in OEM, Service Trace, RMAN, Discoverer
  
  

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Minimum 8 years of experience within Oracle EBS
• Experience architecting large Oracle EBS instances
