    Your Role: Senior Manager / General Manager - Travel Operations Management

    Location: Remote initially. Office will be based in Delhi NCR. Only Delhi/NCR candidates should apply.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience of 7+ years in Travel Operations including Account Management, General Operations, Visas, Destination Management and Airline Ticketing
    • Experience in domestic and international travel, especially for groups / packages
    • VISA processing knowledge and experience for the USA, Europe, UK, Asia, Australia etc.
    • Knowledge of international travel regulations, customs and currencies
    • Working knowledge of ERP softwares for Travel Operations Management; CTM/GDS solutions
    • Prior experience in leading teams of at least 5 members is mandatory.
    • Candidate location should be Delhi / NCR

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    You will be responsible for leading the business division, hiring and managing your team independently:

    1) Leadership & Team Management:

    • Oversee day-to-day operations, lead and coordinate the team on assigned projects.
    • Set clear team goals, delegate tasks and monitor deadlines; Lead and implement team goals or objectives.
    • Perform quality checks, monitor team performance and report on metrics.
    • Determine training needs; provide coaching.

    2) General Operations & Visas

    • Planning and management of complete pre-departure process for clients' travel e.g. scheduling, progress review, completion etc.
    • Visa documents, visa application filing / review for various countries such as the USA, Europe, Singapore, UK, Australia etc.
    • Conduct training for visa documents compilation, visa interviews etc.

    3) Destination Management and Airline Ticketing

    • Handling and overseeing all travel arrangements for domestic and international travel, for groups / packages for locations like USA, Europe, Singapore, Australia
    • Liaising with channel partners like DMCs, Coach Operators, Airlines, Hoteliers and Resort Reps
    • Negotiating rates and contracts
    • Destination research, itinerary development and costing

    4) Account Management and Program Management:

    • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts
    • Ensure that the program is running smoothly for individual members of the group; ensure compliance with company policy or program regulations
    • Prepare and collect program documents including program itinerary, feedback form, suppliers' contacts and other related requirements for the program
    • Provide general information regarding program destinations, visiting sites as well as culture, country facts, local tradition and others

    5) Product Design, Pricing, Cost Control, Financial Planning

    • Use market research information to guide product development and pricing decisions
    • Identify product improvements or new products by staying updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
    • Agreeing service levels, contracts and costs with channel partners. Handle payments / invoicing
    • Assisting Finance / Accounts in financial planning
