- Work with the leadership team to formulate medium to long term financial and strategic plan for business unit verticals and support functions.
- Ensure a robust performance management system which helps achieve budgeted performance.
- Assistance in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure the process of monthly reforecast and weekly forecast at all the business units.
- Creating, implementing and monitoring processes and procedures around the creation of forecasts.
- Analyzing financial and operational results to understand business performance on weekly and monthly basis.
- Preparing periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries with accuracy and within timelines.
- Detailed analysis on operating cost and overheads to suggest improvements that will lead to cost reduction and efficiency in operations.
- Develop and maintain records for all types of capex including follow-up analysis on the projected cashflows.
- Preparation of competitor analysis and market trends.
- Development and monitoring of Key Performance Metrics for the business unit verticals and support functions on a monthly basis.
- Provide timely and accurate financial reports as required by shareholders of the company.
- Monitoring of credit policy compliance and debtors outstanding across the region.
- Co-ordinating closure of board and committee meeting action points.
- Review the board and committee meeting decks.
- Maintaining records of related Party transactions across the region.
- Formulating and ensure pricing policy is followed across the region
- Qualified CA is mandatorily required
