Elastic Search Engineer

Number of open positions : 1

Location :
Pune/Bangalore (Hybrid)

Must-Have :

4+ years of experience in working with enterprise systems
Proven experience as an Elasticsearch Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of handson experience.
Proficiency in Elasticsearch stack components, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
Very good experience in building Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery CI,CD pipelines
Strong proficiency in any one programming language Java would be preferred.
Familiarity with Elasticsearch security and access control mechanisms.
Should be aware of application observability.
Optimize Elasticsearch queries and search functionality to provide fast and accurate results for endusers
Experience with Elasticsearch cluster management, scaling, and performance tuning.
Good aptitude, strong problemsolving abilities, and analytical skills, ability to take ownership as appropriate
Should be able to do coding, debugging, performance tuning, and deploying the apps to the Production environment.
Experience working in Agile Methodology
Ability to learn and help the team learn new technologies quickly
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Must be able to integrate quickly into the team and work independently towards team goals
Should be comfortable working in a Hybrid model from the Pune/Bangalore office of the client.

Nice to Have :

Prior experience in building Chabot applications will be greatly appreciated
Any Generative AI course will be an added advantage.

Role & Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines to efficiently index and store data from various sources into Elasticsearch.
Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues in Elasticsearch clusters.
Configure and maintain security features in Elasticsearch, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption
Optimize Elasticsearch queries and search functionality to provide fast and accurate results for endusers

Take complete responsibility for the project execution
Be accountable for the delivery of the project within the defined timelines with good quality
Define and follow the processes for project execution and delivery.
Drive and motivate the team to be agile and follow agile methodology
Guide the team technically and give the team direction on how to plan, design, implement, and deliver the projects.
Involve the team during the brainstorming sessions as appropriate.
Work with the clients and counterparts (in the US) to drive the project execution.
Keep all the stakeholders updated about the project status/risks/issues if there are any.
Work closely with the management wherever and whenever required, to ensure smooth execution and delivery of the project.
Should be comfortable working in a Hybrid model from the Gurgaon office of the client.
