    Description

    The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and implementing a supply strategy that delivers the lowest total cost, reduces inventory, and maximizes customer satisfaction through world class service.

    Responsibilities

    Job Responsibilities:

    Must experience in Vendor development.

    Must have experience in Automobile Industry.

    Must have experience in supplier development for Machining, Die casting& Forgings.

    Must have exposure in process audits & PPAP approvals.

    Must involve in Cost reduction through supplier development plans & Value Engineering adding new suppliers.

    Must have exposure of SAP.

    Hands-on process management.

    Must involve in Sourcing of Machining parts.

    Must involve in New Vendor Selection & Evaluation as per the system requirements.

    Evaluation of suppliers

    To co-ordinate with QA/NPD to meet customer requirement for any new product development.

    QAV Audits at suppliers end as per customer needs.

    Suppliers Up gradation Plan, Audits & improvement plan of worst suppliers every month.

    Do the zero base costing of each part.

    • Alternate Sourcing of parts to meet cost saving objective of the organization.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma / Degree in Mechannical
    • 7+ years' of supply chain experience
    • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
