- Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products according to defined quality parameters and specifications.
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Conduct sampling and testing as per quality plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Document inspection results accurately and prepare inspection reports.
- Identify and report defects, deviations, or non-conformance issues to QA/QC team.
- Maintain inspection records and ensure traceability of materials.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues.
- Suggest corrective actions and preventive measures for continuous quality improvement.
- Participate in internal and external audits as required.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or related field preferred
- Certification in Quality Inspection or relevant training is an advantage
- 1–5 years experience in quality inspection or quality control
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, ASTM, IS codes, or client-specific quality requirements
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to use inspection tools and read engineering drawings
- Good report writing and documentation skills
- Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and inspection procedures
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
