    What we seek to accomplish together:

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS:

    • Design and define Cloud Platform Architecture for Data Platform, scalable to Multi- Cloud on MS Azure and AWS.
    • Design, maintain and lead Azure Databricks and related services as business-critical data platform.
    • Manage & run DevOps for large scale Cloud deployments on MS Azure and AWS
    • Design & maintain large scale Infra-as-code based on Terraform, AWS – CDK/ AWS Cloud Formation, Puppet, Ansible etc.
    • Manage the onboarding and adaption process Cloud Data Platform and enable authorizations.
    • Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Network, Security Teams, Data Platform, and Operations Team to ensure the efficient design and execution of the Cloud Data Platform architecture.
    • Provide design & onboarding support to the Solution team for developing their Solutions on the Cloud Data Platform. Ex – Machine Learning Solutions, Self-server application, Data APIs etc.
    • Engage stakeholders to gather technical requirements, architect solutions, and execute on deliverables.
    • Design and define Cloud Platform Security Cloud deployments on Azure & AWS, enable data level security for on data-in-rest, data-in-transit and data-in-use. i.e., enable disk encryption, TLS/SSL, Firewalls/whitelisting etc.
    • Design and define Cloud Platform secure Networks for On-premises connectivity into the Azure/AWS cloud architecture.
    • Design and define Cloud Platform Monitoring, Auditing, Tracing & Logging
    • integrate enterprise monitoring architecture.
    • Ensuring Cloud Data platform security, data security, network, monitoring, with collaborations engaging other domains, Infra & Info-security teams.
    • Lead the integrations of Cloud based data platform technologies with Hybrid Networks, Security, Monitoring tools
    • Design and implement the Cloud data platform DevOps/CICD process and support Operational deployments

    A little about you:

    Education and Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent

    What you might also need to have:

    • Senior engineer with a minimum of 8+ years of Software Engineering, 4+ years in Cloud Engineering
    • Proficient in architecting, designing, and deploying Public Cloud-based solutions across Azure, AWS, and Private Cloud platforms.
    • Expertise in Infra-as-code using Terraform, AWS Cloud formulation/CDK, Puppet, Ansible etc.
    • Successfully executed large-scale implementations using the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and applied principles from Microsoft's Well-Architected Framework.
    • Deep knowledge of AWS services including EKS, Kinesis, Kafka, S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS Aurora, and DynamoDB. Consulted on large-scale data solutions and integrated services like Spark, EMR, RedShift, and Kinesis with third-party technologies.
    • Skilled in Cloud Security Infrastructure setup, compliance management, and expertise in Azure Technologies like Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, AKS, SQL, Key Vault, Events Hub, Cosmos DB, and more.
