Draughtsman Job & Responsibilities:

• Worked under Architect for at least 3-4yrs - KDMC approved Residential Properties is must.

• Development of Civil Elevation, Plan & Section Modelling

• Creating technical working drawings from architects' sketches and specifications.

• Using CAD software to create drawings that incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and other construction details.

• Skilled in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUP, Lumion and other computer-aided design software programs.

• Municipal drawing, working drawing and MEP drawing schematics for use by architects, construction managers, and structural and maintenance engineers.

• Entering CAD data into building information modelling (BIM) systems to create 3-D models and renderings.

• Preparing drawings, charts, and records with CAD equipment and conventional drafting techniques.

• Visiting construction sites to perform measurements and calculate dimensions and analyse data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other) as needed.

• Collaborating with architects and construction engineers to ensure adherence to building specifications and industry regulations.

• Keeping abreast of the latest developments and technologies in architectural design.

• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain projects.

• Carry out technical and feasibility studies.

• Handling drawings of Commercial Residential Projects

• Draw up blueprints according to technical specifications.

• Provide advice and suggestions to resolve problems.

• Monitor progress of projects.

Draughtsman Duties:

• Proactively meet deadlines

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Review project specifications for accuracy and completeness

• Develop original drawings for projects

• Maintain knowledge of all building codes

• Provide clients with accurate and detailed drawings

Requirements And Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 3-4 years of experience in architectural drafting

• 4 years of experience with AutoCAD

• Capability to produce accurate floor plans, elevations, section layouts, and details

• Proficiency in AutoCAD

• Advanced proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.

• Mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Great analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
