    The opportunity:

    At OpenText, we are looking for a motivated, highly passionate QA engineer for our development team, which is part of ADM R&D Group, who has the experience, talent, skill set, and confidence to work with a world-class development team at the OpenText office. You will be responsible for working with the product development team to contribute primarily to the quality of the product, which includes participating in product engineering, understanding, and developing required automated tests and testing infrastructure for the planned releases. You will have complete ownership of assigned features in terms of quality, schedule, and customer responsiveness.     You are great at

    • Take full testing ownership of various features and product areas
    • Develop automated tests using existing automation frameworks and contribute to extending the frameworks according to product needs.
    • Report defects with appropriate supporting information for developers to investigate and prepare a fix
    • Work closely with developers during the entire product lifecycle, and participate in the Agile/SCRUM process.
    • Cooperate with UX, UI, and functional architects on specifications, user interaction, and graphic design.
    • Work according to high execution standards while adhering to project goals and ensuring high quality.
    • Always be the customer advocate: think, act, and test according to customer usage and scenarios.
    • Work closely with local and remote R&D teams while keeping high visibility and effective communication.

    What it takes

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or technical discipline
    • Experience with Java, Git, Selenium
    • Experience in testing complex enterprise-level applications
    • Experience with REST API testing and automation
    • Great analytical skills
    • Good understanding of the agile software development lifecycle
    • Fluent English communication
