    Job Description :


    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manual Quality Assurance Engineer with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in performing Regression, Smoke, and Sanity testing.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

    This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and reporting defects, as well as collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.


    Key Responsibilities :

    Regression Testing :

    • Develop and execute comprehensive regression test suites to validate the impact of code changes on existing functionalities.
    • Identify and prioritize regression test cases based on risk analysis and business impact.
    • Conduct regression testing across multiple software releases to ensure backward compatibility and stability.

    Smoke and Sanity Testing :

    • Perform smoke testing on new software builds to quickly assess basic functionality and stability.
    • Execute sanity tests to validate critical features and ensure the initial quality of software releases.
    • Identify and report any critical issues or showstopper defects discovered during smoke and sanity testing.

    Test Planning and Execution :

    • Participate in test planning activities, including test case design, test scenario creation, and test data preparation.
    • Execute manual test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
    • Document test results, including defects found during testing, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.

    Defect Management :

    • Identify, isolate, and document defects using appropriate tools and techniques.
    • Verify bug fixes and track the resolution of reported issues to closure.
    • Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of defects.

    Collaboration and Communication :

    • Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers.
    • Communicate test progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
    • Participate in team meetings, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospective meetings.

    Qualifications and Skills :

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in manual software testing, with a focus on Regression, Smoke, and Sanity testing.
    • Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and best practices.
    • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
