- Entering information from legal documents into the courts electronic filing system or case management database.
- Retrieving requested documents from court archives or electronic databases for judges, attorneys, or other court personnel.
- Reviewing legal documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with court requirements.
- Assisting in the management of case files, including organizing documents, tracking deadlines, and updating case status information.
- Providing assistance to attorneys, litigants, and the public regarding court procedures, document requirements, and case information.
- Assisting during court proceedings by providing requested documents, managing exhibits, and operating audiovisual equipment.
- Maintaining accurate records of all documents filed with the court and ensuring the security and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Conducting research to locate relevant laws, regulations, or precedent cases as requested by judges or attorneys
