Full stack Developer - New Delhi, India - UBS

we're looking for a full stack software engineer to:

• make sure that produced code is secure, stable and operational before handover to the softwareponent manager
• conduct code reviews and test software, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of sdlc
• be able to conduct requirements-gathering activities, design and implement solutions, and develop softwareponents as defined by the software development life cycle (sdlc)
• support the softwareponent manager in resolving high-priority defects and deploying fixes to production systems
• support production issues/tickets with end users on a rota basis with other developers in the group in order to stay up-to-date with application knowledge and any issues
• work with the global performance measurement, benchmark teams and vendors to migrate accounts to new strategic platforms and document requirementsYour teamYou'll be working in the Core IT team in the Asset Management domain. We are a small friendly team in London, Zurich and Chicago supporting the Investment Performance and Benchmark teams within the Asset Management business.

Your expertise

• a university degree in an analytical field like engineering, mathematics, accounting, finance or it
• around 5+ years' sql experience (ideally postgres / oracle plsql/ sql) - including tuning experience (partitioning/index configuration/explain-plan analysis)
• experience of working with cloud infrastructure (preferably microsoft azure)

devops tooling would be preferred (team city / powershell / git)a plus:

• development experience with business objects/microstrategy and/or powerbi
• understanding of ui technologies
