• Conduct and publish impactful medicalresearch in general medicine contributing to the advancement ofmedical knowledge.
• Participate in curriculumdevelopment ensuring that the general medicine program meetseducational standards and prepares students for professionalpractice.
• Actively engage in professionaldevelopment activities to stay updated with the latest advancementsin the field of general medicine.
• Collaboratewith other faculty members and healthcare professionals to enhanceinterdisciplinary education and patientcare.
• Lead and participate in academic andclinical committees contributing to the growth and development ofthe department and institution.
• Supervise andsupport the professional growth of junior faculty residents andfellows.
• Participate in community outreachprograms to promote general medicine awareness andeducation.

RequiredQualifications

• Medical Doctor (MD) orDoctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accreditedinstitution.
• Board certification in generalmedicine from an accredited board of internalmedicine.
• Significant clinical experience ingeneral medicine including outpatient and inpatient caresettings.
• Demonstrated record of teaching andmentoring medical students residents andfellows.
• Proven track record of conducting andpublishing medical research in generalmedicine.
• Experience in curriculum developmentand academic program accreditationprocesses.
• Strong commitment to professionaldevelopment and continuing medicaleducation.
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills to effectively engage with students colleaguesand patients.
• Ability to work collaborativelyin a multidisciplinary academic and clinicalenvironment.
