PAEDIATRICOPTOMETRISTPositionOverview:The Paediatric optometrist atHealthLand forms an essential part of theteam.
Theprimary role of an Optometrist is toprovide quality eye and vision care tochildren.
Optometrists perform comprehensiveeye and vision tests and diagnoseeyedefects.
The ideal candidate will possessa deep understanding of the dieteticsdomaincoupled with a passion for childrenswellbeing to drive sales andpatientsatisfaction.


KeyResponsibilities:
1. Conducting eyeexaminations for infants children andteenagers2. Diagnose and manage commonpaediatric eye conditions like amblyopia(lazyeye) and strabismus (eye misalignment)and provide guidance on visualdevelopmentand proper eyewear3. Collaborate with otherhealthcare professionals such asophthalmologistspaediatricians and opticiansfor comprehensive patient care4. Referpatients for specialised treatments or coordinate care plans toaddressspecific eyeconditions5. Educate patients about propereye care visual hygiene andpreventivemeasures to maintain good eyehealth6. Provide guidance on the use andcare of eyeglasses or contact lenses as wellasoffer lifestyle recommendations to protectand optimisevision

RequiredQualifications:
Graduation/Post Graduationin Optometry Registered Optometrist orequivalent certification. Knowledge ofpaediatric nutrition guidelines growth charts andnutritionalassessmenttools. Sales aptitude in recommending orselling vision care products that meettheneeds of theirpatients Excellent written and oralcommunication skills to explain concepts topatients Minimum of 23 years experience inpatient facing role at a vision carecentre

PreferredSkills:
Knowledge of paediatric healthcareservices. Basic Computer operatingknowledge Ability to use CRM tools fortracking leads and sales progress
