Key Responsibilities
Technical & Estimation Responsibilities
- Study tender documents, technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs related to SiEPAN LV switchgear panels
- Prepare detailed cost estimates including panel hardware, busbars, breakers,MCCBs, ACBs, protection relays, metering, wiring, and accessories
- Perform makebreak analysis and ensure compliance with Siemens SiEPAN design guidelines and standards
- Select appropriate components as per customer specifications, IEC standards, and project requirements
- Prepare GA-based estimations in coordination with the design/engineering team
- Commercial & Proposal SupportPrepare techno-commercial offers including cost sheets, deviation statements, and clarifications
- Coordinate with procurement for vendor pricing, lead times, and cost optimization
- Support the sales team during tender negotiations and pre-bid / post-bid discussions
- Analyse cost risks and propose value-engineering alternatives where applicable
- Coordination & Documentation
- Liaise with Siemens technical teams, vendors, and internal departments for approvals and technical clarifications
- Maintain estimation records, cost databases, and historical pricing for reference
- Ensure timely submission of estimates and proposals as per tender schedules
Qualifications & Experience Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of LV switchgear systems and components
- Familiarity with IEC standards, short-circuit calculations, and panel ratings
- Understanding of SLDs, GA drawings, and BOQs
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic ERP / costing tools
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and tender documents

- Accuracy of cost estimates
- Timely submission of bids and estimates
- Win ratio support through competitive pricing
- Compliance with technical and commercial requirements
