    About the role:

    As an Assistant Manager - MEP, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing aspects of construction projects. You will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring efficient MEP system installations, and maintaining high-quality standards. Your technical expertise, project management skills, and strong leadership abilities will contribute to the successful execution of MEP projects while meeting the brand's expectations.

    What You Will Be Doing

    • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to plan, design, and implement MEP systems in construction projects.
    • Design Review: Review and analyze MEP designs and specifications, ensuring compliance with local codes, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Budgeting and Cost Control: Assist in preparing project budgets, estimating MEP costs, and monitoring expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
    • Procurement: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure MEP equipment, materials, and systems, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
    • Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality control procedures for MEP installations, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
    • Construction Management: Oversee MEP construction activities, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of installations and resolving any technical issues.
    • MEP System Testing and Commissioning: Plan and manage MEP system testing, commissioning, and handover procedures, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with project requirements.
    • Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of MEP engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
    • Health and Safety: Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all MEP personnel and compliance with applicable regulations.
    • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, technical drawings, change orders, and as-built drawings.
    • Client Relationship Management: Communicate and collaborate with clients to understand their MEP requirements, address concerns, and provide regular project updates.

    • Proven experience in interior design project management, with a focus on uber luxury residential/commercial/hospitality projects.
    • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of designers.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with brands, stakeholders, and team members.
    • Solid understanding of design principles, materials, and construction techniques
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines.
