    Description
    RoleOverview:We are seeking anexperienced PostgreSQL Developer to join our team. The idealcandidate will play a critical role in designing implementing andoptimizing PostgreSQL databases and applications. They shouldpossess indepth knowledge of PostgreSQL concepts strong SQLdevelopment skills and a proven track record of effectivelyresolving performance issues. The candidate should be passionateabout database development and committed to delivering highqualitysolutions that meet businessrequirements.KeyResponsibilities:
    • Designdevelop and optimize PostgreSQL databases andapplications.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to understand project requirements and translate them intoefficient database designs.
    • Implement andmaintain database schemas tables views functions and storedprocedures.
    • Write efficient SQL queries andoptimize database performance.
    • Troubleshoot andresolve databaserelated issues including performance bottleneckslocking and deadlocks.
    • Monitor and tunedatabase performance using tools such as EXPLAIN ANALYZE andpgstatstatements.
    • Implement and maintaindatabase security measures including user roles permissions andencryption.
    • Perform data migrations backups anddisaster recovery procedures.
    • Stay updated onPostgreSQL updates best practices and emergingtechnologies.
    • Document database designsconfigurations andprocedures.
    Key SkillsandQualifications:
    • Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Engineering or relatedfield.
    • 6 years of experience in PostgreSQLdatabase development and administration.
    • Strongunderstanding of PostgreSQL architecture internals and bestpractices.
    • Proficiency in SQL development andoptimization techniques.
    • Handson experiencewith database performance tuning andtroubleshooting.
    • Experience with PostgreSQLreplication clustering and high availability solutions is aplus.
    • Familiarity with database monitoring andmanagement tools such as pgAdmin psql andPrometheus.
    • Excellent problemsolving andanalytical skills.
    • Strong communication andcollaboration skills.
    • Ability to workindependently and in a teamenvironment.
