Roleand Responsibilities As anAcademic Counsellor you will be responsible for providing guidanceand support to students in their academic journey. Your tasks willinclude:

• Conducting oneononecounseling sessions to understand students educational aspirationsand career goals.
• Helping students exploredifferent academic pathways and assisting them in making informeddecisions about their future.
• Providinginformation about various academic programs courses anduniversities to students and theirparents.
• Assessing students interests skillsand abilities to recommend suitable academic and careeroptions.
• Assisting students in filling outcollege applications preparing for entrance exams and completingfinancial aid paperwork.
• Maintaining accuraterecords of student interactions and progress ensuringconfidentiality and privacy.
• Collaborating withteachers administrators and parents to address students academicand personal challenges and develop effectivesolutions.
• Staying uptodate with the latesttrends in education scholarships and careeropportunities.

CandidateQualifications To besuccessful in this role you shouldpossess:

• A bachelors or mastersdegree in education counseling psychology or a relatedfield.
• Previous experience in academiccounseling or a similar role preferably in an educationalinstitution.
• Strong communication andinterpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and theirparents.
• Excellent listening skills and theability to empathize with students concerns andchallenges.
• Knowledge of different academic andcareer options entrance exams and admissionprocesses.
• Good organizational skills to managemultiple students and their individualneeds.
