    As a highly skilled Electrical Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for managing design operations, ensuring technical excellence, and leading engineering activities in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Tender Preparation:
      • Prepare tender specifications, data sheets, material requisites (MRs), and technical bid evaluations (TBE).
      • Develop design basis reports (DBRs) and detailed technical specifications.
    • System Design and Diagrams:
      • Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) for overall systems and basic protection.
      • Develop schematic diagrams, schedules, I/O lists, and logics for EHV/MV/LV systems.
    • Substation Engineering (Up to 400kV):
      • Perform substation design, including conductor sizing, sag tension analysis, protection philosophy, and short circuit force analysis for AIS/GIS voltage levels.
      • Prepare detailed designs for substations, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements.
    • Equipment and Component Sizing:
      • Conduct sizing calculations for CTs/PTs, transformers, DC systems, UPS systems, auxiliary systems, switchgears, MCCs, and other electrical equipment.
      • Calculate parameters for electrical components, including cables, cable trays, earthing, and lighting systems.
    • System Studies and Calculations:
      • Perform load flow, short circuit, and motor starting studies using ETAP software and manual calculations.
    • Layout and Drawings:
      • Review and develop engineering drawings, including substation general arrangements, earth mat details, raceways, grounding, lighting, and equipment layouts.
      • Prepare cable distribution board schedules and inter-panel wiring diagrams.
    • Technical Documentation and Review:
      • Review technical documents, drawings, and specifications to align with project scopes.
      • Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement changes where necessary.
    • Team Development and Collaboration:
      • Conduct kick-off meetings, progress reviews, and technical discussions with clients and internal teams.
      • Mentor and develop the engineering team to maintain technical expertise and project efficiency.
    • Database and Knowledge Management:
      • Manage and update the Lessons Learned database to drive continuous improvement in project execution.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
    • Proven experience in substation design (up to 400kV) and detailed engineering.
    • Expertise in software tools like ETAP, AutoCAD, and other relevant design applications.
    • Strong understanding of electrical protection, control, and system studies.
    • Exceptional ability to interpret and create technical documentation and schematics.
    • Proficiency in engineering codes and standards related to EHV/MV/LV systems.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
