    Location - MIDC, Andheri, Mumbai

    Role:

    • To Lead the Design team
    • To manage the planning and allocation of all design briefs to the design team
    • Follow up with the team on a daily basis to ensure output is happening as per plan.

    Responsibilities:

    • Once briefs are loaded to the design team, this person needs to get the planning done, as per time norms given, and working with the different project owners
    • A daily tracking and follow up to ensure output is happening as per plan
    • Daily and weekly reports need to be published to the Design Head, and the Project owners, in terms of status of briefs, and revised output dates where required
    • Where delays are happening, they need to work with the respective project owners and figure out a plan to get the output back on track
    • Also coordinate with New Product Development team to ensure design output is in sync with the requirements

    Preferred Experience and skills:

    • 10 years of experience as a Jewellery Designer and has to be from jewellery industry
    • Manage a team of minimum 7 people
    • With Team lead experience of minimum 3-4 years
    • Preferably with an experience in India and export markets
    • Need to have a strong sense of being able to adapt existing designs/products to fit the customer's requirements, as well as to generate fresh ideas
    • Having good communication skills is important
