    Human Resource Manager Corporate Office Mumbai

    National Institute of Construction Management and Research is a pioneering organization for the promotion of education, training, research, professionalism, and skill formation at all levels of the construction and other allied industries. NICMAR is an independent, autonomous, non-government, non-profit entity incorporated in Mumbai.

    JOB PURPOSE:

    Responsible for comprehensive and effective drive down of Human Resource strategies and operational support for the delivery of the NICMAR Trust Strategic & Operational Plan.

    Report to Director-People & Culture in all HR initiatives across the NICMAR Trust, University and units including workforce planning strategy, compensation and benefits policy review, reward and recognition, employee development & engagement, HR analytics, policy formulations and performance management.

    Assist in developing and maintaining beneficial relationships with key external partners to facilitate the achievement of all HR targets using a systematic approach to ensure adherence to all statutory requirements, accreditation guidelines and protocols.

    Effectively liaison with HR teams of units of trust for the monthly report compilations and process compliances from Trust perspectives

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    HR Operations and Initiatives:

    Spearhead HR operations to support NICMARs growth and expansion plans

    Coordinate with Trust constituent units for implementation of HR strategies

    Align HR strategies in discussion with Director-People and Culture keeping in view the organizational goals

    Implement leadership directives for driving organizational growth and maximizing human capital effectiveness

    Oversee talent acquisition, MIS reports compilation, payroll compliance etc. and related documentations

    Contribute to creating a conducive work culture & environment

    HR Systems Development and Implementation:

    Assist to Director(People and Culture) in the development and implementation of HR systems

    Ensure policies, procedures, and processes align with NICMARs strategic goals

    Focus on legal compliance and stay updated on regulatory changes

    Implement a strategic approach for seamless integration of updates

    Compensation and Benefits:

    Implementation of compensation design as per the required structures

    Manage NICMAR employee benefits program and ensure legal compliance

    Conduct market analysis for benchmarking compensation practices

    Administer and drive performance-based incentive programs

    Performance Management and Succession Planning:

    Develop and implement performance appraisal processes

    Facilitate performance improvement plans as and when required

    Conduct market analysis for benchmarking compensation practices

    Administer and drive performance-based incentive programs

    Identify high-potential employees and create succession plans

    Collaborate with department heads for talent needs and skill-gap analysis

    Training and Development:

    Design, implement and oversee comprehensive training programs

    Identify organizational training needs and deliver effective learning experiences

    Evaluate training outcomes, refine programs, and stay breast of best industry practices

    Legal:

    Knowledge of handling legal cases, compliances, litigation

    Know-how of planning the manpower in organization

    Other Delegations:

    Accept any other HR related delegations and responsibilities as entrusted by Director-People & Culture

    INTERNAL & EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIP:

    Internal:

    Working alongside Director-People and Culture & other HR heads of university, units

    External

    Relevant authorities and bodies to support the HR function.

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:

    A minimum of 6-8 years experience in Human Resources and specifically a minimum of at least 2years in a managerial role.

    A relevant postgraduate degree in relevant discipline, or equivalent experience

    Knowledge of UGC/AICTE/University regulations is desirable

    Prior knowledge of working in similar corporate environment where compliance and control was executed

    Familiarity with the Higher Education sector is preferred.

    Excellent standard of spoken and written English.

    High level maturity, integrity, and ability to handle confidential matters.

    Excellent analytical and report writing skills.

    Understanding of and familiarity with accreditation guidelines and employment laws
