    Description

    : Position will be a Subject Matter expert on Software distribution & Patch Management. Hands on experience on software deployment & Patch rollout via systems Management tools like Config Mgr., Altiris or LANDesk. Troubleshoot infrastructure & client issues to ensure compliance on rollouts. Custom reporting capability is a must. Asses, Plan and upgrade systems management tool to ensure its evergreen and new features are explored.

    Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Candidate with 3 to 5 Yrs. Strong experience in Software Distribution and Patch management using SCCM current branch / Legacy versions
  • Execution of Enterprise support processes including Incident Management/ Problem Management /Change Management /Service Request Management /Asset & Configuration Management 6 to 8 years' experience within engineering, building, and supporting a large heterogeneous multi-data center computing environment.
  • In-depth work stream experience like Deployment, incident analysis, resolution, problem definition, analysis and resolution of Deployment failures.
  • Detailed Infrastructure knowledge including Server troubleshooting, design, and implementation experience on SCCM current branch / Legacy versions
  • In-depth understanding of all SCCM concepts like SCCM Roles, Boundary configuration, site assignment, Client installations etc.
  • Awareness of recent technology changes of all System Center Products.
  • Awareness of SCCM V-Next and windows 10 Servicing.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with: Designing and Deploying Microsoft products in an Enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge & worked on integrating MDT 2012 with SCCM.
  • In-depth knowledge of SCCM client installation, software distribution, remote control, and other SCCM issues.
  • Knowledge &worked on SMS/SCCM tools &utilities Day to day operational stability Ability to priorities multiple tasks.
  • Scripting experience like VB Script and PowerShell etc
  • Packaging experience should include Wise Studio, but Install Shield experience may be substituted, along with VB script and SMS packaging
  • Evaluate alternatives for deploying and supporting applications in a managed environment.
  • Experience in Security Updates Deployment using SCCM 2007/2012 and manage Patch Testing Deployments with change and Release Process.
  • Software Deployment Process Knowledge on SCCM 2007/SCCM2012 and with Good knowledge on Mass Software Distribution, Collection Creation and Managing Advertisements.
  • Trouble Shooting on SCCM Distribution failures and Validating Packaged Applications for Deployment Readiness.
  • Ability to prepare POC , creating RFC ,Implementing Service improvements etc.
  • Customer Reporting
  • SCCM Asset Reporting and Reporting Software Usage, Maintain Deployment Calendar and License Validation process.
  • In-depth knowledge on Client OS (Windows 7/8/10) and Troubleshooting.
  • Responsible for escalation management, communications, and management of production system problems.
  • Knowledge on other deployment tools like Altiris, LANDesk (Ivanti) will be advantage.
  • Necessary skills:

  • Strong understanding of ITIL, specific to Change & Release management
  • Ability and willingness to take direction from team Lead, SDM and Client Executives
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Able to adapt to a changing technical environment
  • Ability to coach other members of team in their area of expertise
  • Ability to communicate clearly with all team members and end-users
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency
  • Customer facing presentation and consulting skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell
  • Certifications:

    ITIL Foundation (optional),

    Certification on Configuration Manager (Optional in case of Good knowledge)

    English: Read, Write & Speak

    • University degree or equivalent education and experience
    • Minimum of 3 years relevant experienceProficient in one of the technologies relating to enterprise systems, networks, backup, storage, cloud or a customer proprietary, COTS, or Unisys application.
    •Have specific certifications on the respective domain, platform or application.
    •Ability to support multiple clients/ technologies as part of shared support delivery.
    •Must be client focused, display interpersonal skills and be an effective team member.
    •Ability to train and develop staff and/or client.
