    Description

    Amazon's Trustworthy Shopping Experience (TSE) team works to ensure that buyers receive authentic products.

    We design and implement policies, tools and technology innovations to protect the buying experience on Amazon while minimizing friction for sellers.


    For our regional TSE IN team in Bangalore we are looking for a Sr Program Manager with a passion to solve real world problems.

    You will work closely with corporate counsel, legal, business teams, selling partner experience and support teams, operational excellence, product, BI and data science/engineering teams to deliver high-impact end to end compliance solutions.


    You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of policies, processes and tools to address issues impacting the customer experience in collaboration with teams across Amazon.

    This is an opportunity that requires a critical thinker with organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. At the core of the position is passion for protecting Amazon's reputation and the customer experience and trust.

    Key job responsibilities
    Responsible for assessing risk and developing strategies to meet key compliance requirements for the India marketplace
    Define, develop, and manage metrics, key performance indicators, and initiative goals.
    Regularly assess initiative health, identify emerging risks, and drive continuous program improvement.

    Identify and monitor key operational risks areas, define and benchmark risk indicators, ascertain risk thresholds, review processes health, and engage with stakeholders to drive risk mitigation.

    Work with a wide range of cross-functional teams to define compliance requirements, develop and enhance controls, and influence the technology and science teams to build scalable compliance systems.

    Communicate regularly with leadership and ensure consistent reporting of business continuity risks and compliance health.
    Strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    Self-driven, ability to work independently to develop and execute strategies with minimal supervision.
    Develop region-specific programs as needed to improve both reactive and proactive enforcement. Maximize automation and efficiency in resolving issues, and identify and achieve measurable goals.

    About the team

    TSE (Trustworthy Shopping Experience) is the regulation and compliance organization of Amazon where we have program teams dedicated to support various regulatory compliance areas medical device and unsafe products.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent

    • 5+ years of risk management, or relevant risk management working experience.
    • Ability to understand, troubleshoot, and describe complex technical processes and issues
    • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and work under time pressure
    • Demonstrate passion for problem solving and building innovative solutions
    • Experience applying analytical skills to solve problems and creating data
    -driven solutions

    • Comfortable making quick, calculated decisions in a fastpaced environment
    • Organizational skills with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
    • Experience developing and presenting to large groups (including senior executives), and comfortable discussing and defending ideas, both verbal and written
    • Basic Analytics: Ability to run basic SQL queries and dive deep in excel
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
    • 5+ years of audit, compliance, and enterprise risk management experience.
    • Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems with an extreme attention to detail and experience in preparing and leading business reviews for senior management.
