Primary Skills:
Excellent knowledge of PHPExperience with MySQLExperience with a front-end Javascript library, such as jQueryExperience working with a LAMP stack (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP
)
Experience working with SOAP and REST APIsProficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as SVNExperience with Xdebug or similar debugging/profiling toolsUnderstanding of MVC principles, and experience with a relevant PHP frameworkRoles & Responsibilities:
To Develop software features in a self-sufficient way and to a high technical standardUnderstanding the system architecture and technical goals of the productFollow development process (source control, branching, testing etc.) without assistanceActively troubleshoot issues and assist with complex support queries which require further analysisTaking part in team rituals such as stand-ups, planning sessions, demos and retrospectivesTaking part in team activities such as collaborative-development and code-reviewsTaking part in cross-team activities such as knowledge-sharing and documentationBuilding relationships with all other teams in the product development departmentPersonal Skills/Attributes:Team player and understands how own work is important to the team's successWilling to contribute what it takes to meet deadlines and deliverablesDedicated to continual learning and self-improvement – technical and functionalWilling to take on additional responsibility to ensure team successThrives in an environment that fosters constructive debateAbility and eagerness to learn new emerging technical skills that are relevant to MRI Software.
Education:
