    Job Description - Telesales Team Lead

    As a lead specializing in Education Loan Sales at Propelld you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our loan products within the education domain. You will play an integral part in handling the sales team and contribute to the growth and success of our financial services in the education sector.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead Generation:

    • Initiate outbound calls to prospective customers, effectively communicate the benefits and features of our education loan products, and address their inquiries.
    • Craft persuasive sales pitches tailored to individual customer needs, emphasizing the advantages of our loan products, interest rates, and repayment options.
    • Understand the unique financial requirements of customers and recommend suitable loan solutions from our product portfolio.
    • Assist customers in completing loan applications, collect necessary documentation, and ensure a seamless application process.

    Team Leadership:

    • Lead and motivate a team of telesales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
    • Provide guidance, support, and coaching to team members to enhance their sales skills and performance.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

    New Employee Training:

    • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new telesales representatives.
    • Ensure that new employees are equipped with the necessary product knowledge, sales techniques, and tools to succeed in their roles.

    Performance Management:

    • Set clear performance expectations and goals for team members.
    • Track individual and team performance against established targets and metrics.
    • Implement performance improvement plans as necessary to address underperformance.

    Reporting and Analysis:

    • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, team productivity, and other relevant metrics.
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Use data-driven insights to optimize sales strategies and processes.

    Qualifications:

    • 4+years experience in loan sales, retail liabilities, insurance sales preferably in the financial/banking sector/Insurance sector.
    • Strong communication in English and Hindi.
    • Knowledge of education loan products and the education sector is a plus.
