Product Illustrator - Mumbai, India - Proximity Works

Description

As a Product Illustrator at Studio Proximity, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our clients' visual identities. You will lead design projects, provide conceptual and visual direction, oversee motion and illustration design, and execute identity projects from inception to completion. Your role will require excellent communication skills to present concepts and ideas to clients with clarity and confidence.

This role is Mumbai based and you will be required to work from the office.

You will be responsible for -

• Given a high-level problem, you deliver concrete end-to-end innovative interactive solutions that help define a product vision, while also focusing on performance and scalability.
• Your skill level across product visualisation, Ideation, interactive illustrations, execution & craft is generally solid across the board, with one or more areas being areas of particular strength.
• Paint a vision for new concepts, illustration trends, and take an obsessive approach to detail and important user problems, backed by data and research.
• You help to create scope for Product illustration and implement product + design strategy within assigned areas.
• Work closely with stakeholders of product and graphic to convert the product vision into innovative concepts that enhance user engagement.

You need to have —

• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• A strong portfolio of work that showcases a mix of process driven and practical illustration skills including layout, colour, Ui standards and typography
• A mix of artistic talent and technical expertise, demonstrating a strong background in product illustration and visual design
• Experience using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma and other tools of the trade to create compelling designs
• You collaborate and communicate effectively with peers and stakeholders
• Full project lifecycle experience from concept to completion in an agile development process

Bonus points for –

• Having the ability to process designs with a cognitive, strategic, and practical approach
• Having the ability to conceptualize, ideate and create animations (gifs) and videos with the provided specs
• Having some knowledge of UI standards, and the ability to give suggestions/opinions/feedback on UI decisions.
• Having created comprehensive guidelines for producing quality graphics.
• Knowledge of After Effects.
