Description

• Collecting and analyzing data related to expenses from each business / function
• Estimating costs and comparing budgets with actual expenses
• Monitoring costs in case of any significant changes in products or processes
• Gather and analyze financial data. Wellversed with SAP FI to extract data on a frequent basis and work on even minor details for identifying the alarming costs.
• Suggest costoptimizing or profitable solutions
• Continuous churning of Data. Keen to dig and identify the variation in actuals and budgeted.
• Conduct detailed analysis of expense data, including but not limited to, operating expenses, capital expenditures, and discretionary spending.
• Keep a proper check on the increasing trend of expenses and sensitize the concern department to control the same
• Create and maintain reports & dashboards that visualizes key expense metrics, trends, and variances
• Present findings and insights to concern businesses/depts., making complex financial data accessible and actionable
• Compare forecasted and actual expenses, discuss with the department head, if the difference is alarming.
• Standardize processes and use learnings across businesses, benchmark external organizations and adhere to industry standards to develop a robust cost control system.
• Generate expense reports and work closely with the analytics team to represent exceptions, KPIs and trends analysis
