Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Instructional Designer to join our team. As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and effective learning materials for our clients. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The ideal candidate will have more than 10 years of experience in instructional design.

Qualifications and Skills

• More than 10 years of experience in instructional design or a related field
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories
• Proficiency in using authoring tools and learning management systems (LMS)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Experience in the oil and gas industry and familiarity with instrumentation design
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D AutoCAD
• Knowledge of quality management principles
• Project management skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create instructional materials, including e-learning courses, training manuals, and job aids, based on client requirements
• Design and develop engaging and interactive learning activities and assessments
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather content and ensure accuracy
• Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create effective learning experiences
• Utilize authoring tools and learning management systems (LMS) to develop and deliver learning content
• Conduct needs analysis and identify learning objectives for each project
• Review and update existing training materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in instructional design
• Manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines
