    We invite applications for the Management Trainee, ISC - RTR role within our Finance Organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Purpose:

      The role of Management Trainee, ISC - RTR will be pivotal in supporting the Finance Organization's goals, particularly in Supply Chain Cost management. As a specialist in costing matters, you will identify and analyze cost drivers at the lowest possible level to inform key decisions. You will serve as the first point of contact for BU finance teams to investigate cost variances versus trends.

    • Period End Close:

      Journals, Reporting, Variance Analysis

    • Management Reporting and Cost Analysis:

      Develop and maintain accurate financial reports, providing insights into supply chain performance and cost trends.

    • Month-End Close Process:

      Ensure timely completion of all reconciliations, guaranteeing accuracy and completeness.

    • General Ledger Reconciliation:

      Verify and correct discrepancies between the General Ledger and subsidiary ledgers.

    • Inventory Accounting and Reconciliations:

      Manage inventory records, perform periodic reconciliations, and ensure accuracy.

    • Coordination and Service Level Adherence:

      Streamline activities to meet service level expectations and support cross-functional collaboration.

    • Inventory Management and Control:

      Monitor daily deliveries and shipments, update inventory records, and maintain control over stock levels.

    • Daily Deliveries and Shipments:

      Track and update inventory records to reflect real-time changes.

    • Maintain Inventory Records:

      Ensure accuracy and up-to-date information on inventory levels and movement.

    • Checking Inventory Costs:

      Analyze and verify the accuracy of inventory costs.

    • Maintaining Other Non-Current Assets:

      Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of non-current assets.

    • Costing Process Understanding:

      Familiarize yourself with costing processes in warehouse/manufacturing setups.

    • Day-to-Day Accounting Knowledge:

      Understand accounting principles and practices in plant/warehouse environments and supply chain finance.

    • Inventory Controlling Knowledge:

      Develop skills in managing and controlling inventory levels.

    • Period Close Activity:

      Assist in closing period activities at warehouse/manufacturing locations.

    Qualifications We Seek

    Minimum Qualifications / Skills

    • Cost Accountant (Inter/Final) or MBA Finance or M Com or Graduate degree

    • SAP or experience in similar ERPs (Oracle/JDE/SAGE/BPCS/PRMS, etc.) environment is mandatory

    • Flexibility to work in shifts (24X7)

    • Good written/verbal communication skills

    • Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel & Word)

    Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

    • Strong accounting knowledge in both Management Reporting and Financial Reporting

    • Eagerness, extra energy, and dedication to being effective

    • Excellent communication skill, written and verbal

    • Problem-solving and analysis skills

    • Understanding of Blackline tool for Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
