JD for Product & Sample Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and execute merchandising strategies for knit and woven products.

Collaborate with designers, suppliers, and production teams to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.

Manage inventory levels and optimize stock holding through forecasting and demand planning.

Conduct regular market research to identify trends and opportunities for new products.

Monitor competitor activity and respond with appropriate strategies.

Ensure timely delivery of products by managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.

Provide regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and forecasts.

Job Requirements :

Strong knowledge of fabric, yarn, dyeing, weaving, finishing, product development, exhaust, lab, fabric sourcing, export marketing, and fabric marketing.

Familiarity with garment manufacturing processes and techniques.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including designers, suppliers, and production staff.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology or related field preferred but not required.

2-3 yrs of experience required.
