    Job Description

    The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Coverage: Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana
    • Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify and recruit top sales talent
    • Mentor employees to help them achieve individual & team objectives

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales Strategy & Execution:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue, market share, and new account acquisition targets.
    • Drive sales growth across Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
    • Ensure effective penetration of Ayurvedic products in both prescription and OTC segments.

    Team Leadership & Development:

    • Lead a team of Sales Managers & Field Sales Officers across multiple states.
    • Set sales targets, monitor performance, and provide training & guidance to enhance productivity.
    • Foster a results-driven sales culture through motivation and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Distributor & Retail Management:

    • Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, retailers, and stockists to drive product availability.
    • Optimize supply chain, inventory management, and ensure effective distributor performance.
    • Drive retailer engagement programs to increase sales and brand visibility.

    Doctor & Practitioner Engagement:

    • Establish strong relationships with Ayurvedic doctors, practitioners, and healthcare professionals.
    • Develop and execute marketing initiatives to promote prescription-based Ayurveda sales.

    Revenue & Collection Management:

    • Ensure timely collections from distributors and retailers, minimizing outstanding payments.
    • Work closely with finance teams to track and manage outstanding dues.

    Market Research & Expansion:

    • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
    • Identify new business opportunities and expand distribution channels.

    Key Requirements

    • Experience: 15+ years in Ayurveda or Pharma sales.
    • Educational Qualification: Bachelor's/Masters degree in Business, Pharmacy, or a related field.
    • Skills:
      • Strong expertise in distributor management, sales strategy, and team leadership.
      • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
      • Proven ability to manage collections and drive outstanding payment recovery.
      • Analytical mindset with a strong understanding of Ayurvedic/Pharma industry trends.
      • Ability to manage multi-state operations with frequent travel.
      • Ability to speak any two or three of the below local languages is preferable Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu
