Job summary
The MEPF Project Technical Expert is responsible for providing end-to-end technical support for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Firefighting (MEPF) projects.Key Responsibilities include technical planning & design coordination review project drawings specifications and scope of work related to MEPF systems coordinate with consultants architects and clients for technical clarifications and design approvals prepare and review shop drawings GFC drawings ,and technical submittals ensure compliance with applicable codes standards statutory requirements BOQ estimation budget control prepare verify BOQs cost estimates material take offs for MEPF works assist in value engineering cost optimization without compromising quality vendor OEM coordination evaluate technical offers alignment project requirements coordinate with OEMs vendors technically discussions datasheets approvals provide guidance site teams during execution resolve issues discrepancies RFIs raised during project execution monitor progress technically standpoint support planning schedules quality assurance documentation ensure installations adhere approved drawings standards review method statements test procedures inspection checklists participate in meetings clients consultants ,provide presentations clarifications required key skills competencies strong knowledge HVAC Electrical Plumbing Firefighting systems proficiency AutoCAD MS Excel MS Project documentation sound understanding IS NBC NFPA relevant standards excellent coordination communication problem solving ability manage multiple projects simultaneously qualification experience bachelor degree diploma mechanical electrical related engineering discipline experience mepf project execution office roles industrial commercial pharmaceutical infrastructure preferred
